Why should I rent clothing from the Magic Clothing Rental Store?


Renting special occasion clothes for your kids saves time and money!! Instead of paying a fortune for the perfect outfit that your daughter will only wear once for pictures or a special occasion, borrow from our store and designer collection. Stop hunting for the perfect accessories to match…we’ve already picked them out for you! If you’re a photographer or wedding planner we just made your life easier! One stop shopping for mini-styled sessions, flower girls, and more!




What the Magic Clothing Rental Store offer?


The Magic Clothing Rental Store is your closet which provide all options for Dress, Suit, Shoes and Accessories. We are dedicated to making your pictures, special occasions, events, and weddings perfect by providing you with rental options from the best boutique and designer clothing for little girls and boys.




The calendar is showing none of the dresses I would like to reserve are available this weekend. Why?


Our calendar requires at least 3 business days from today’s date to account for packing/shipping time. If you need something sooner, please Contact Us and we may be able to make arrangements to ship overnight. You will be responsible for paying upgraded shipping charges. If the date you are looking to reserve is over 3 business days away and still now showing as available, then the item is already reserved.




How long is a reservation?


Currently our reservations are for 4 days. Here is a typical timeline: Day 1 - Receive your rental; Day 2 - Try everything on; Day 3 - Use your items for your event; Day 4 - Return by noon of day. There is no delivery on Weekend ot Hoildays, if you return day falls on a Sunday or holiday, return the next business day.




What if my items get wrinkled during shipping?


Although all of our items are professionally steamed or pressed by our dry cleaner prior to arriving on your doorstep, they may get a wrinkle or crease here or there in the shipping process. The Borrowed Boutique cannot be held liable for wrinkles nor will we pay for you to have the items you have rented professionally steamed or ironed. Because many of the materials on our dresses are very fragile please read the tag instructions. Steaming is the best option to remove wrinkles from many of the delicate items we offer. Items made from cotton and silk may be ironed on a low heat. Please do not iron any sequins or other embellishments or any items made from tulle because this may result in scorching or melting.




How do I return my rental items?


For Sale product, please contact us by E-mail and shipping to our store. For Rental product, returns are easy with our prepaid return label and reusable shipping materials. Simply place your items back in the bag or box with the shipping label attached and drop it off at at UPS location. ****We do not ship with the post office. So please be sure to drop off at UPS.




What if I do not returen my items on time?


We understand that sometimes time can get away from the best of us. Unfortunately, because we run a business with a tight turn around time we do need our items returned. We try to make things easy by including return packaging and a prepaid shipping label that lets you simply throw your items back in the mail or corresponding postal carrier drop box. If you forget or are unable to return your items you will be subject to a $10 late fee for each day that your items are returned late. Please see our terms for more details.




What if my child accidentally stains or damages something?


We understand accidents happen! Most normal wear/tear isn’t an issue. We will do our best to repair and/or clean the item. In the event an item is damaged beyond repair, you can be charged up to 200% of the retail or market value of an item, depending on the replacement cost.




Can I keep my items longer than my rental period?


If your event date changes, such as a photo shoot getting rescheduled, contact us and we may be able to extend your reservation depending on availability.




What if I lose my rented items?


We understand life with children can be hectic. However, because some of our items are extremely hard to replace, you will be charged up to 100% of the retail or market value of an item, depending on the replacement cost.




How does shipping work?


For orders more than $50, ground shipping is free. You pay for UPS shipping when you make a reservation. We provide a prepaid UPS return shipping label that you can drop off at any UPS store or drop box.




How does cleaning work?


We take care of cleaning. All items are professionally cleaned and inspected between rentals.




Can I cancel my order?


Yes, you can cancel your order at least 14 days before your delivery date. If you cancel your order 14 or more days in advance of your delivery date, there will be no cancellation fee and you will be refunded in points to be used on a future rental. Cancellations that are less than 14 days in advance of your delivery date will be charged a $10.00 fee.
